Azide magnetic particles are magnetic beads coated with a high density of azide functional groups on the surface. There are azide groups on the surface of particles, so the compounds or proteins with alkyne groups can be immobilized on the particles easily by click chemistry, also for PET or SPECT imaging by clicking radioisotopes.
