*POLICE RECORDS IN BUNGOMA SHOW THAT THERE IS UNREST AT LUGULU GIRLS DUE TO A RAPE INCIDENT. THE GIRLS ARE ON THE STREETS*
SUB: SCHOOL UNREST INCIDENT REPORT. Ref. OB NO.4/8/12/2020 at 0100hrs, it occurred on the night of 7/12/2020 2330hrs at lugulu girls high school, at kituni sub-loc of Mr xr 925740 about 5km North of the station. It was reported by Mrs Dina Cheruyot school principal, that form four student were screaming and making alot of noise demanding to be addressed by ministry of education officials since the school management were adamant. Scene visited by police and DCI officer and it was established that on the 5/12/2020 at about 0445hrs one of the student namely Cheryl nabalayo l/f/j aged 16yrs while taking bath, alleged that unknown male person attempted to rape her, but she raised alarm making the suspect to flee. The same morning, the school administration was informed about the incident but no action was taken, which led to today's incident. No injury/ damages caused. investigation commenced. case P.U.I.by stapol webuye.
*CONCLUSION*
From pictures and clips I am getting from Webuye as girls riot, my feeling is that parents must rush and collect their cjildren from the school. The girls are not safe on the streets of Webuye. No masks, no social distancing… and ogling men who may want to take advantage. This is a national school. It is unfortunate that ministry of Education officals failed to control this situation.
