Also called: *GASTRIC CANCER.*
Cancer that occurs in the stomach.
There may be no symptoms of stomach cancer early on. Later, symptoms include:
👉 feeling bloated after Eating.
👉 feeling full after eating small amounts of food.
👉 heartburn or indigestion.
👉 Poor appetite.
👉 Weight loss (without trying)
👉 Abdominal (belly) pain.
👉 Vague discomfort in the abdomen, usually above the navel.
👉 Vomiting, with or without blood.
👉 Swelling or fluid build-up in the abdomen.
👉 Blood in the stool.
👉 Feeling tired or weak, as a result of having too few red blood cells (anemia).
👉 Yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice), if the cancer spreads to the liver.
👉 being aged over 60.
👉 infection with the bacteria *Helicobacter pylori.*
👉 a diet high in smoked, pickled and salted foods and low in fresh fruit and vegetables.
👉 alcohol consumption.
👉 being overweight or obese.
👉 pernicious anaemia (low red blood cells).
👉 chronic gastritis (inflammation of the stomach).
👉 a family history of stomach cancer.
👉 partial gastrectomy for ulcer disease (after about 20 years).
👉 inheriting a genetic change that causes the bowel disorders familial adenomatous polyposis.
👉 hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer : a genetic disease of autosomal dominant inheritance. It is caused by a mutation in one of four genes of the DNA mismatch repair system and confers a markedly increased risk for various types of cancer, particularly of the colon and the endometrium.

👉 fizzy drinks (drinks with gas) , alcohol, spicy food, Salty food, pickles and citrus fruits.
👉 You should also avoid caffeine, peppermint and chocolate.
