Rose Njeri utilised KSh 1000 government stipend that was disbursed to cushion Kenyans during the COVID-19 pandemic to start egg-selling business.
Rose started the business by supplying eggs within the outskirts of Likoni in April 2020 and currently owns two wholesale shops with a variety of goods worth KSh 100,000.
Rose: "When the government started sending me KSh 1000, I saved up to KSh 8000 and bought several trays of eggs. I could supply them across Likoni by walking on foot. I am glad that in six months, I own a bicycle that I use to supply my products to clients and one employee who earns from the business. #WomenInBusiness
