America at 250: Faith and Fear, Christian Nationalism, the Final Crisis, the Image of the Beast, the Loud Cry, and the Everlasting Gospel
As America marks 250 years, conversations about faith, national identity, and Christianity continue to shape public life. While many seek moral renewal, the Bible reminds us that lasting revival comes through Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit—not through national identity alone.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
The Scriptures point beyond earthly kingdoms to the everlasting Kingdom of God. Jesus taught that His followers belong first to His heavenly kingdom.
"My kingdom is not of this world." — John 18:36
Historic Seventh-day Adventists understand Revelation 13 as warning of a future crisis involving worship and freedom of conscience. The central issue will be faithfulness to God, and the Bible calls believers to stand firm in truth while respecting the freedom of conscience of every person.
Before Christ returns, Revelation describes the Loud Cry—the final worldwide proclamation of the everlasting gospel, calling all people to worship the Creator and prepare for the coming King.
"Come out of her, my people." — Revelation 18:4
"Fear God, and give glory to Him... and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." — Revelation 14:7
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." — Revelation 14:12
Our hope is not in earthly governments, but in Jesus Christ, who is soon coming to establish His eternal kingdom. Let us proclaim the Three Angels' Messages, defend religious liberty, and prepare the world for His glorious return.
