ADVENTIST ANGELS WATCHMAN RADIO — SIGNS OF THE TIMES UPDATE
"And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them... Why is the house of God forsaken?" (Nehemiah 13:10-11).
As inflation rises and economies become more unstable, many workers—including teachers, ministers, and missionaries—are struggling to survive. The recent news of educators taking multiple jobs to pay for basic needs reminds us of the days of Nehemiah, when God's servants had to leave their sacred duties because their support had failed.
The Bible warns that the last days will be marked by economic distress, social unrest, wars, natural disasters, and increasing pressure upon conscience. Today we see rising prices, global conflicts, political uncertainty, and growing calls for stronger controls over society. These developments point us to Christ's counsel:
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28).
Now is the time to strengthen our faith, support the work of the gospel, study God's Word, and prepare spiritually for the closing scenes of earth's history. The question Nehemiah asked still echoes today: "Why is the house of God forsaken?"
Let us be faithful stewards, watchful believers, and courageous witnesses as we await the soon return of Jesus Christ.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
