This is Dubai’s journey in 40 years since 1980.
On the left (top) is Dubai in 1980, on the right (bottom) it is Dubai in 2020.
Dubai is a desert, however it used its natural resource, oil, to transform it people’s lives and turn itself into a world class place.
Zimbabwe has diamonds, gold, platinum, coal, land, chrome, lithium, black granite, nickel + more, and also an educated human resource, yet it now looks worse than it did in 1970.
All this because its political leadership is corrupt, it plunders the country’s natural resources and LOOTS the country’s public funds.
And guess what? The Zimbabwean looters buy houses in Dubai, and spend the looted wealth in Dubai.
They get treated in Dubai and other counties and they also send their kids to study in Dubai, and they don’t feel shameful stealing from their own people to develop foreign countries!m
Then some idiot who is paid US$10 to defend this theft on social media fails to understand why they will die poor without a home to their name!
With all this evidence of looting they still embarrassingly talk about sanctions!
